About Luanne Dietz

I've set out to capture life as it happens through my camera. Based in St. Petersburg Florida, I tend to focus on stories with significance.

My love for documentary storytelling started while at the University of Florida where I studied photojournalism and world religion. As my experiences grew, so did my desire to meet interesting people and tell their stories.

When I'm not capturing life in rectangles, you can find me in my middle school classroom where I teach photojournalism at a Title-1 inner city middle school for Journeys in Journalism, a program in partnership with the St. Petersburg Times. Check out our award winning middle school newspaper, The J.Hop Times.
